    Welcome to the new blog from Pharos Tutors.  The aim of this blog is to promote the very best and most thoughtful writing on topics of interest to serious genealogists. If you are wanting something more than just the run of the mill article on family history, then this blog is for you.
    You will find here discussions about genealogy education, genealogy research, the practical art and craft of family history, as well as other related topics as the mood takes us.
    Why Genealogy Lighthouse?  Because the Pharos lighthouse in Alexandria was one of the eight wonders of the ancient world, and at Pharos Tutors we aim to be a guiding light in the genealogy world.

      I really like this blog. WordPress is very professional looking, it’s free and allows more time to be spent on the content. It takes the worry out of web pages. The only thing I could suggest would be to have the Pharos name more prominent.
