Kelly Cornwell

Kelly Cornwell is a professional genealogist, blogger and speaker, with over 20 years experience of researching family history.  She is a graduate of the Pharos Tutors Intermediate and Advanced Certificate Courses (both with Distinction), and an AGRA Member (the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives).

Kelly has appeared in several podcasts, and presented talks to the Society of Genealogists, the Society for One-Place Studies, and the Federation of Family History Societies among others.  She enjoys connecting with fellow family historians across various social media platforms, including X (Twitter), Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, MeWe, and TikTok.

After discovering her ancestor had been transported to Tasmania for stealing a quantity of shoes, Kelly developed a special interest in Transported Convicts, which is the subject of many of her talks. Along with transported convicts, Kelly specialises in Suffolk, Essex and East London research.
