Advanced Programme Year Two Project Module (982)

Year Two of the Advanced Certificate programme is only open to those who have successfully passed Year One. This is the registration and project module, which covers all the activities outside the set courses.

The Year Two assessment takes the form of a Research Project, which must involve research in original documents. Research proposals are submitted in November and agreed by the end of the year. Students are then free to spend 20 hours of research and reporting time to conduct their chosen project at any point during the year, though many wait until the formal taught courses are completed in June.

The Project module starts in September, with an introduction to the project, and continues through to the project work submission deadline on the last Friday of September the following year.

Important enrolment information: 

To be considered enroled on year two of the programme you need to sign up (pay) for ALL components for year two before the start of September to be considered enroled, unless you have passed them in the last three years:
